FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Where are you located relative to the airport?

Q:  Do I need to make a reservation?

A:  There is no reservation system.  It is first come, first served, but we have never run out of available parking spots.  

Q: What are our days and hours of operation?

A: We are open 24/7/365. You can come and go at any hour of the day.

Q:  What happens if I arrive and all 18 parking spaces are taken?

Q: How long can I park?

A: As long as you wish.

Q: Is there a discount for long term parking?
A:  No.  The cost is $10/calendar day, regardless of length of stay.  Payment must be made in advance.

Q:  Is there a shuttle service?

A:  No.  We are located a 4 – 6 minute walk to the terminal depending on how quickly you get a walk sign to cross Broad Street and how quickly you walk.

Q: What do we do if we have a lot of suitcases?

A:  Most people drop off other travelers at the airport with the suitcases, then go and park.

Q:  Will my car be ticketed or towed if my flight gets delayed? 

A:  No, as long as you call the ABC Parking number at 805-242-3322 and either talk to the manager or leave a message.  You can then either pay on your return by adding more money in the deposit box or add more money via Venmo.

Q: Can I park an oversized vehicle, like an RV or oversized truck?

A:  No.  Only standard sized vehicles are allowed.

Q: Is there covered parking? Is the lot attended?

A:  No, the parking is an open, paved, well-lit lot. It is not attended.

Q: What do I do if I do not know how long I will be gone/my exact return date?

A:  Park and register as usual.  Estimate your return date but Indicate on the bottom of the envelope “return date uncertain.”  If you stay beyond your anticipated date, make an additional payment by Venmo. Alternatively, call the ABC Parking number, leave a message or speak to management so they know you are returning late, and make the additional payment on your return.
